DIVE DESTINATION GUIDE
For most people, when you're talking about diving in Japan, you're talking about diving in Okinawa. The underwater world is similar to Southeast Asia, but topside, Okinawa offers the safety and modern comforts of Japan. Many divers definitely think the long plane ride is totally worth, and that Okinawa offers some of the best diving in the world.
Most of the dive sites around Okinawa main islands are in the Kerama Islands National Park, which an hour boat ride away from Naha Harbour. There are also numerous dive sites around Onna Village in the northern part of the main islands of Okinawa. Planning a dive trip here is usually a little more complicated, but there are dive centers to help you plan your trip.
